Toasts & Quotes: Dylan Thomas on Alcoholics

"An alcoholic is someone you don't like who drinks as much as you do." ~ Dylan Thomas (1914 - 1953), Welsh poet and author. Americans came to know him almost as much for his beguiling readings as for his writings, as he often performed on U.S. radio and film. Among his many credits is his poem to his dying father "Do not go gentle into that good night", written in 1951 just two years before his own untimely death.
