I first tasted the gems of Lopez de Heredia at a "Wine & Spirits Top 100” tasting in San Francisco. This impressive event features the top producers from around the world, selected by the team at Wine & Spirits Magazine using a double-blind format to assure objectivity.
The 2011 vintage in Rioja produced wines that lean towards elegance and finesse and this wine is no exception. This wine will outlive both you and me.
