This is a delicious and affordable everyday red blend (Barbera, Ruche and Grignolino) from one of our favorite producers of Ruche. The nose delivers enticing aromas of red fruits and apricot, with a floral note from the Ruche.
The Winery
This third-generation winery is perched atop a hillside surrounded by more than two hundred acres of vines. Montalbera is the largest producer of Ruche in the world, with 60% of their vineyards dedicated to this wonderful and underappreciated grape. Their wines are the poster child for this variety!
