The perfect antidote to Springtime stress - relax and enjoy this ever-so-slightly 'frizzante' refresher at an everyday price. Rose wines from this region in Northern Portugal are catching on, as they offer the same refreshing zip as their white wine sibling, but with a bit more body.

The term "Vinho Verde" translates literally as "Green Wine" but the term "green" refers to youthfulness more than color. Though the white version of these wines does show a greenish tint towards the edge of the rim, these are "young wines" intended to be consumed while young. Bottled early, the slight fizziness is the natural result of the fermentation finishing in the bottle.
