Rustic Bakery Cheese Coins – Organic
I’ll admit it, I am addicted to these little bites of heaven. Once I eat one, I just cannot stop!!
Rustic Bakery uses a mix of local cheddar, parmesan and asiago cheese to create these delicious bite size coins. The finish has a kick of red pepper flakes and cayenne to balance the rich buttery flavor. Perfect with a cocktail or a glass of wine as well as to create interesting canapés and hors d’ oeuvres.
Rustic Bakery has been serving quality handmade baked goods since 2005.
Carol LeValley & Josh Harris started Rustic Bakery on a whim in 2005. The couple found their passion for baking in a simple sourdough flatbread cracker that Carol would whip up for friends. They stopped at the San Francisco Ferry Building, and mentioned to Cowgirl Creamery that their cheeses deserved artisan crackers. The Cowgirls bit, literally, into a sourdough flatbread and immediately placed an order for 50 cases.
The business has grown to four cafés and a wholesale division with 28 products. Carol and Josh can still remember sitting at the kitchen table, and seeing their first tray of crackers come out of the oven. It was such a thrill.
