Fiasconaro Panettone Tradizionale 500g

The traditional marker of the holidays in Italy, this tradition was simply too good to be kept at home. Panettone are increasingly popular on this side of the pond for good reason - they're delicious and can easily last for a week once opened (if you have more self-control than we do).

The interior is light as a feather - an egg dough cake, essentially - that is stuffed with raisins and candied fruits (NOT like a fruit cake). More creative versions now include lemon or chocolate or nuts, but we prefer the traditional version you see here.
