Mosole 2022 Pinot Grigio

Italian Pinot Grigio has earned a bad reputation over the past 20 years, as its exploding popularity led to the inevitable cycle of over-planting, over-production and decisions made by the accounting department instead of the grower.

This ain't that.

Mosole is one of a growing number of producers dedicated to the resurrection of this noble grape, who calls Northeastern Italy its spiritual home. 

Thought the grape is also called Pinot Gris in France (and Oregon, and CA) the style of this Italian region is markedly different. At its best, an Italian Pinot Grigio combines enthusiastic aromatics with a crisp and clean wine that pairs well with a wide vaiety of foods.
