Plaza Mayor Sheep Cheese w/Truffle

As the name might imply, the Plaza Mayor Cheese Company is in La Mancha, Spain.  The climate is traditionally dry yet sufficiently fertile for farming, especially when it comes to cheese and wine production.

This cheese is a semi-firm and creamy raw milk Manchego cheese. 

It is aged for six months and has visible veins of truffle running throughout. The cheese is fabulously decadent and ideal for lovers of all things truffle. 

Pro Tip: It makes a welcome addition to any holiday charcuterie board.

Pairs well with a Spanish white wine (Verdejo and Viura) or Spanish red wine (Tempranillo or Garnacha).
