Still white wines from this mountainous region (the Rhône-Alps, bordering Swizterland) beautifully reflect both the warmth of the Rhône and the crystalline purity of the cool Alpine air. The Rhône influence brings a sun-kissed expression of stone fruits while the Alps add pure limestone minerality.
