The Wine

The wine opens with loads of spiced cherry jam notes, cola and sassafras with some hints of light chocolate. On the palate, the wine is complex and powerful, showing raspberry, milk chocolate and sweet spices. 

Pair with grilled meats, lamb, rabbit, pork in soy sauce marinade. Would stand up well against most BBQ sauces!

The Winery

Our Balletto story begins in 1977, when a 17-year old John Balletto started growing vegetables on 5 acres of his family property. Together with his mom, his business partner, they grew the business over the next 20 years to span over 70 types of produce grown on 700 acres. Today, the entire property has been converted to grape vines. They sell 90% of their fruit to 25 other wineries, but save enough to support their own brand
