House of Brown Red Blend

The Brown Estate is one of the few Napa wineries owned by a black family. They've done very well, and their wines sell at or above the usual price for wines that say "Napa" on the label.

But as it came time to involve the second generation in the family business, they brought this idea for a wine they could enjoy with their friends in their twenties, wine lovers who aren't accustomed to buying Napa wines that start at $50.

And to say their House of Brown wines have been a hit is an understatement.

Whatever your age or wine budget, here's a wine you should consider - a delicious red blend offering notes of bright red fruits (cherries, pomegranates) with surprising spice notes contributed by aging in stainless steel tanks lined with oak staves.

The rare combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Tempranillo (50/25/25) works surprisingly well!
