Featuring hints of strawberry, red fruits and spice, one of those wines that calls you back for another sip, and the bottle always empties far too quickly. Luckily, the 12.5% ABV makes it easy to enjoy!
The Winery
Located between the famous Château de Chenonceau (perhaps THE most photographed Chateau in all the Loire Valley) and the Beauval Zoo, Clos Roussely is in the heart of the village of Angé (population 801). It covers 22 acres farmed using biodynamic and organic practices. They even eschew exhaust-spewing tractors in favor of horse-drawn ploughs and sheep in place of mowers.
