Palmento Costanzo 2020 Etna Rosso Nero di Sei

From the Mother-Daughter team of Valeria and Serena Costanzo, this wine is 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. A selection of the best grapes from the Estate’s old vines in Contrada Santo Spirito in Passopisciaro, on the northern side of the Etna DOC Appellation. Native yeast fermentation in large conic neutral oak vats. 2 year aging in large oak barrels.

All the energy of volcanic soils, intertwined with aromas of ripe small berries, flint and spice box. The wine's bouquet features notes of small red berries, flint and pleasant spiceness, followed by balsamic nuances. On the palate look for a refreshing minerality and silky tannins.
