D'Armanville Champagne
D'Armanville Champagne
The Wine
Mostly Pinot Noir that is a blend of harvests. Vinified in stainless steel with partial malolactic fermentation and no oak exposure.
Floral aromas, chamomile tea, ripe peaches and other yellow fruits with hints of tart red fruits. Very ripe apples, baked sugar cookies. A lot of complexity in this wine, which is a great value in entry-level Champagne!
The Winery
Established in the Arce Valley, an talented winemaker, oenologist and enthusiastic globe trotter, travelled the world to share his expertise and passion.
As the story goes, during a trip to America he fell in love with Lady D'Armanville. She loved Champagne so the winemaker decided to make an exceptional wine just for her. He wanted it to be a “grand vin” (with bubbles) and hence D’Armanville Champagne was born. One hundred and fifty years later, the spirit of Champagne D’Armanville endures.
