Dom. Fouet 2024 L'Ardillon Saumur Blanc (Chenin Blanc)

This new vintage of Loire Valley Chenin Blanc is a case study in Chenin’s myriad aromatic properties. The wine swims in a sea of textural allure and tufa-anchored minerality. Though Sauvignon Blanc is the Loire Valley's best-known white grape, it's Chenin Blanc is the first love of many aficionados!

Pro Tip: Proper pronunciation of the grape is closer to 'shuh-NAH' then SHEH-nin, but order it using either pronunciation and we'll gladly guide you to this bottle! 

The Winery

Julien Fouet took over the family winery after the premature passing of his father in 2016. Having long used organic practices, Julien is also on track for being certified by Ecocert. Among the changes he has instituted are “eco-pâturage”, or, put another way, using sheep to weed and fertilize his vineyards.
