The Lakes Region Food & Wine Tour: Farmstead in Italy 2026. Initial Deposit $1,950 (first of two)

Our Italian food and wine tours continue in 2026. Our small group (10-12 max) will start in Verona and work our way up to Alto Adige, Lago di Garda and over to Lago di Como, exploring Italian cuisine and wines along the way. We'll be working with Libera Mente Viaggi ('Clear Your Mind Travel'!!) to plan for our 2026 tour.

Deposits Are Due NOW

The cost of the trip is $3,900 per person, double occupancy (single-room travelers pay a $600 supplement). Price does not include airfare or airport transportation. Tour fee covers meals (except lunch on your free days), hotels and transportation between sites.

ITINERARY

Tour dates: Fri April 17 - Thur April 23, 2026F

Friday, April 17 in Verona. Guests arrive individually, check into our quaint hotel in central Verona - Hotel Giulietta E Romeo

6:00 Reception/Introductions

7:30 Group dinner in Verona (walking).

Saturday, April 18. Depart Verona for Valpolicella & Alto Adige

9:30 After breakfast at hotel, group boards our bus for drive to Secondo Marco, winery in Valpolicella (~30 minutes)

Depart Secondo Marco for trip to the biodynamic producer, A. Lageder, in Alto Adige (~1.5 hrs). Late lunch and tour/tasting?

Depart A. Lageder for 1hr drive to Azienda Agricola Roeno. Dinner and rooms at the winery Azienda Agricola Roeno.

Sunday, April 19. Roeno winey

Breakfast at hotel.

9:30 departure for tour and tasting at our host winery, Roeno, located in the awe-inspiring region known as Valdadige Terradeiforti. Located in the narrow Adige river valley, they are bordered on both sides by impressive Alpine mountains dotted with old castles and ruins from the days they were used to govern river travelers.

Depart for Lake Garda. Afternoon and evening on the lake (see image). Check into West Garda Hotel in Padenghe sul Garda.

Monday, April 20. Franciacorta visit - Corte Bianca

After breakfast at hotel, depart for Corte Bianca in Franciacorta. Tour/tasting.

Afternoon activity at Lake Iseo before check-in and dinner at Iseolago Hotel

Tuesday, April 21. Balgera Winery visit.

After breakfast at hotel, board bus for the beautiful ~2hr drive to Valtellina for a tour and tasting at Balgera Winery. 

Check into our lake-front hotel, Promessi Sposi, a hotel and spa with a panoramic view on the top floor (20 Euro/hr). Group dinner

Wednesday, April 22

Bus departs after breakfast to Lake Como. Free day on the lake. 4:00 Return to hotel Promessi Sposi. Final group dinner within walking distance of hotel. We say goodbye to our Bus driver.

Thursday, April 23

Individual departures to Milan airport (~1 Hr).
