The Wine

As has been the standard for centuries in Portugal, this is a field blend of a mish-mash of grapes that include Portuguese classics like Tinta Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. The vine age ranges from 30-60 years, planted on schist soils.

The wine was selected by our tasting team for its blend of freshness and savory notes in this full-bodied wine, as well as its exceptional value. Look for aromas of spiced dark fruits with hints of wild herbs. On the palate, the theme established by the aromatics come full force and without heaviness - ripe black fruits, spice and savory herbs. 13.5% ABV

A partnership between Rita Marques, one of Portugal’s most dynamic young winemakers, and Marc Kent, the influential force behind South Africa’s Boekenhoutskloof. Their project focuses on expressive, terroir‑driven wines that emphasize the vineyard over the cellar.
