Lauriga Bastien Cotes du Roussillon

Jean-Claude Mas hails from a lineage of grape growers in Languedoc. Jean-Claude, the first in his family to train as a winemaker, discovered his passion for wine at age three while helping his grandfather during harvest.

In 2000, he founded Domaine Paul Mas, revitalizing his family’s 86 acres and acquiring other domaines. Now, he manages 15 estates in Languedoc-Roussillon, known for exceptional wines from Limoux, Picpoul, and the Spanish border.

Notably, he acquired Domaine Lauriga in Thuir, founded in 1068, which spans144 acres and showcases traditional Roussillon grape varieties, ensuring an exciting future for his wines.
