Vino de Sed 2022 Navarra Rojo

A small-production blend of Spanish grapes - Garnacha (Grenache), Mazuela, and Syrah. The grapes come from dry-farmed bush vines in the desert-like terroir of Los Monegros.

The wine delivers notes of juicy red fruits, baking spices, and an intriguing minerality that is balanced by its fine tannins and bright acidity - just enough to keep the wine from being simple and cloying.

Produced in limited quantities, it embodies the philosophy of El Vino del Desierto: wines that capture the rugged beauty of Navarra while remaining approachable and food friendly. 

The winery's philosophy is to emphasize low-intervention winemaking, manual harvest, and respect for the region's extreme terroir that produces distinctive wines when made without filligree. The name “Sed” (meaning “thirst”) reflects both the arid environment and the wine’s refreshing, quaffable style (as depicted on this great label, featuring a thirsty field worker drinking wine from his leather Bota Bag!).
