Warre's Otima 10 yr Tawny 500ml

Tawny ports are generally blends of vintage wines (unless it's a Colheita!) from the cooler regions of Northern Portugal. This category of ports is known for aging in large oak casks called "lodge pipes" for many years (From 7 yrs for a "Reserve" up to 40 years!) of oxidative aging, during which the wine loses much of its color as it develops enticing aromas suggesting fruits and nuts.

On the palate, this 10-year Tawny Port is light and delicate, with beautifully rounded hints of dried fruits and a long elegant finish. Pair with chocolate desserts, nuts and cheeses drizzled with honey or a well-aged balsamic vinegar.
