The Wine

A traditional, aromatic white wine from Mendoza, showcasing Argentina’s signature white grape in all its modern, fresh style.

As is common for Torontos, the wine is intensely perfumed with aromas that hint at orange blossom, jasmine, and rose petals, alongside ripe tropical fruit such as lychee, pineapple, and mango.

On the palate, the wine is crisp and vibrant, with bright acidity that lifts the floral aromatics and a touch of citrus zest. The texture is smooth yet light and bright, with a clean, refreshing finish that makes it ideal for drinking with either light foods or as a contrast to creamy sauces. It pairs beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, ceviche, grilled fish, or simply enjoyed as an aperitif, where its aromatic character shines without interference.

The Winery

Bodega Zolo is a contemporary Argentine winery located in Mendoza, founded in 2003 by Patricia Ortiz, one of the world's leading women in wine. Her estate is known for combining traditional Argentine varietals with modern winemaking techniques, producing wines that are expressive, approachable, and terroir driven.

Zolo sources grapes from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, where the combination of intense sunlight and cool nights preserves aromatics and acidity. The philosophy emphasizes sustainability, precision in vineyard management, and crafting wines that reflect Argentina’s heritage. Torrontés, often considered Argentina’s flagship white grape, is a cornerstone of their portfolio, celebrated for its floral intensity and refreshing style.
