The Wine
A crisp, dry, and true Penedès-style Cava, with bright citrus, green apple, and subtle floral notes and a fine, persistent mousse.
The palate is clean and refreshing, driven by lively acidity, light orchard‑fruit flavors, and a gentle autolytic touch from traditional‑method aging. It finishes with a bright, fruit-and-mineral theme that is well balanced. A terroir‑driven vintage Cava built (and priced!) for everyday drinking.
Pairings: Tapas (of course!), shellfish, fried foods, sushi, and fresh cheeses. Its acidity and bubbles make it a natural aperitif.
The Winery
Avinyó is a family estate in the Alt Penedès committed to traditional‑method Cava made entirely from estate‑grown fruit.
Farming is sustainable and focused on biodiversity, and the wines are crafted with long lees aging and minimal intervention to preserve clarity and character. The house style emphasizes freshness, precision, and authenticity, offering Cava that reflects both the region’s limestone soils and the family’s meticulous approach.
