Cheap Thrills is our hand-picked shelf of wines under $30. These are the bottles our team reaches for on a weeknight and still brings to a dinner party. You’ll find crisp Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino from Sardinia and southern France, dry rosés from Provence, Spain and California, Cava and sparkling Lambrusco, plus easy-drinking reds like Carignan and Pinot Noir. A few come in cans or liter bottles for picnics and parties.

Every wine is chosen by the staff at Farmstead Cheeses & Wines, an independent cheese and wine shop with locations at Alameda Marketplace and in Oakland’s Montclair Village. Stop by either shop and we’ll help you find a cheese to go with it.
