Don Gastronom was founded in 1966 in the Ría de Arousa, where the most exquisite Spanish seafood is captured. The facility has its own small dock, allowing them to receive the freshest catch every day.

This species of mackerel has a milder, more delicate flavor. It is caught in the southern waters of Spain and Portugal by inshore fishing fleets, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring responsible resource management. Each mackerel is hand-peeled with a knife, never using chemicals like others do.
