The Wine

Looking for an affordable bottle of bubbles you can enjoy on its own or use in your favorite spritz? Look no further!

The wine is a pale, copper‑rose sparkling Pinot Noir (100%) with a fine, persistent bead and an enticing aromatic profile. The palate offers wild strawberry, pomegranate seed, white cherry, rose petal, and a faint herbal snap, all carried by brisk acidity and a dry, refreshing finish. The mousse is delicate rather than frothy, giving the wine a graceful, aperitivo‑friendly texture. Crisp, linear, and quietly elegant.

Fermented using the Charmat method, which preserves the grape’s bright red‑fruit aromatics and keeps the style light, fresh, and approachable. This is Drusian’s entry level wine, and it delivers everything you'd expect from this respected producer of Prosecco Superiore.

Pairings: Very cheese and charcuterie friendly, try this wine with chèvre, young asiago, or bloomy‑rind cheeses like Delice de Bourgogne or Mt. Tam. The acidity and red‑fruit cut through richness, while the subtle herbal notes play well with soft, creamy textures. Also ideal with prosciutto‑wrapped melon, shrimp cocktails, and light antipasti. And as mentioned above - the perfect addition to your favorite Spritz!

The Winery

This wine comes from Valdobbiadene, which is in the Veneto region and home to some of Italy's top Prosecco. Prosecco producers use a grape called Glera, but a few also produce a sparkling wine from Pinot Noir. Even though they can't call it "Prosecco" due to local regulations, they still craft this small‑production rosé spumante that leans on the area’s natural freshness.
