Isn't it nice when "delicious" and "Economical" coincide? Here we have such a wine, a blend of the Italian grapes Grechetto and Trebbiano with a bit of Sauvignon Blanc for seasoning (55% / 30% / 15%). This alluring temptation is then packaged in an oxygen-free environment - the famous "Bag in Box" - a cardboard box housing a mylar bag with a spigot. Keep it in your refrigerator and dispense each glass as needed and the wine stays fresh for 3-4 weeks.
And the best part? the box contains the equivalent of four bottles, so at $32 for the box that is the equivalent of $8 a bottle! And I have never opened a bottle for less than $12 that was as good as this one.
