The Winery
Gonet‑Medeville is a small, quality‑driven estate run by Julie and Xavier Gonet‑Medeville, combining their Champagne heritage with Bordeaux tradition.
Their Monplaisir vineyards sit on gravel and clay near the Garonne, producing blended wines dominated by Merlot (as is the rule among Right Bank producers) with freshness and finesse.
Farming is thoughtful and low‑input, and winemaking emphasizes gentle extraction and restrained oak, resulting in Bordeaux Supérieur that is elegant, balanced, and consistently over‑delivers for its category.
