The Wine
A delicate, fruit-driven Rose Champagne that is a blend of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (60 / 30 / 10). Notes of cherry and strawberry, a persistent bead of bubbles and a creamy mousse. A slight tannic texture from the red grapes grown on this husband-and-wife estate in the Cote des Blanc region!
Pairings: Best with creamy cheeses, salty snacks / hors d'oeuvres, and a wide variety of savory dishes.
The Winery
Florant and Emilie met at a nightclub at 1:00 AM. Nothing special about that, really, except they were both underage and had snuck into the club separately! Long story short, they got married and now they raise wine and kids together.
They represent tremendous value in wines of the Côte des Blancs, made in the heart of the hottest region of the moment – Chavot-Courcourt! Old vine Chardonnay vines, limestone soils, all the feels!
