The Wine
Crisp, elegant, and delicately fruit‑driven, this is a benchmark of traditional‑method (secondary fermentation and lees aging occur in the bottle prior to release) rosé from Alsace.
Made primarily from Pinot Noir, it shows bright strawberry, raspberry, and cherry notes with subtle floral tones and a clean, dry finish. The mousse is fine, the acidity lively, and the overall impression is freshness with just enough red‑fruit charm to make it versatile and crowd‑pleasing.
Pairings: Charcuterie, salmon, sushi, fried foods, soft cheeses, and anything that benefits from a bright, sparkling counterpoint. It’s also a classic aperitif style — light, refined, and easy to enjoy.
The Winery
Lucien Albrecht is one of Alsace’s historic sparkling‑wine specialists, credited as an early champion of Crémant d’Alsace and instrumental in establishing the appellation.
The estate focuses on Pinot Noir for this rosé, farming cool, limestone‑influenced sites that give the wines finesse and clarity. Winemaking is traditional‑method with long, patient aging on the lees, resulting in sparkling wines that are consistently refined, dry, and expressive.
