The Wine
As depicted on the label, Negroamaro used to be "Farmer's Wine", while the landowners were drinking the Primitivo. But since those days long gone by, Negroamaro has become the primary red wine of the region, now crafted in a style that roots it firmly in the fine wine classification. Lucky for those of us making farmer-like salaries, it's on the affordable side of "fine wine"!
This wine is vinified in stainless steel with native yeast, and sees no oak prior to bottling (or post bottling, for that matter!)
