Vinity Wine Co
The Wine
A dark‑fruited, sun‑drenched Negroamaro showing blackberry, plum skin, warm spice, and a faint bitter‑herb lift. Supple, savory, and dry with a clean, mineral‑tinged finish.
Zacinto comes from organically farmed vineyards near Manduria, planted on limestone and ancient marine sediments that naturally limit vigor and intensify flavor. The warm 2022 vintage produced small, concentrated berries with excellent ripeness. Fermentation is done in stainless steel with gentle pump‑overs, followed by a short period in neutral vessels to preserve freshness and the grape’s natural savory edge.
Pairings: Grilled sausages, tomato‑braised meats, roasted peppers; cheeses like aged provolone, Pecorino di Puglia, or Piave Vecchio.
The Winery
Masseria Cuturi dates to 1881 and was revived by the Rossi‑Chauvenet family, who farm organically and champion native Puglian varieties. The estate’s limestone‑rich soils and coastal breezes shape its savory, mineral‑driven style. Winemaker Giacomo Rossi works with minimal intervention to highlight purity and regional character.
