The Wine

It’s an easygoing, Oregon‑styled orange wine taht can be described as bright, salty, and pleasantly wild.
Pairings: Excellent with Middle Eastern dishes, roasted squash, curry, charcuterie, and washed‑rind cheeses. Its texture and aromatics make it especially good with spice and umami.
The Winery
Ovum is a small Oregon producer focused on minimal‑intervention white wines that highlight vineyard character. Fruit for Big Salt Orange comes from cool, coastal‑influenced sites across the state. Winemaking is deliberately hands‑off: native yeasts, extended skin contact, and aging in neutral vessels to preserve freshness and texture. The result is an orange wine that’s expressive, approachable, and unmistakably Ovum — saline, aromatic, and built for the table.
