Winebow
The Wine
Crisp and (white) peppery, this is a classically Austrian Gru Vee!
Bright citrus, green apple, and a clean herbal lift. The palate is dry and lively, with the grape’s signature white‑pepper note, firm acidity, and a stony finish from its loess (wind-blown sand) and limestone soils. It’s a fresh, precise style built for everyday drinking and for the table.
Pairings: Excellent with salads, schnitzel, seafood, and dishes featuring herbs or citrus. For cheese, choose fresh goat, young Alpine styles, or anything light and lactic.
The Winery
Weingut Pratsch is a family estate in the Weinviertel focused on organic farming and clean, expressive Grüner Veltliner. Their vineyards sit on loess and limestone slopes that naturally produce wines with bright fruit and mineral tension. Winemaking is straightforward — cool fermentations and stainless‑steel aging — allowing Grüner’s clarity, spice, and freshness to shine.
