The Wine
100% organic Monastrell (aka, Mourvedre) from rocky limestone soils. The vineyards are at high altitude (2,400 feet) and use no herbicides or pesticides, are hand harvested and then fermented at the Gil Family's off the grid winery In Jumilla, Spain.
The 3L bag in box provides the equivalent amount of wine as four regular 750ml bottles, but with a far lower carbon footprint AND brings the benefit of a six-week shelf life once first opened. The bag's valve allows for easy dispensing while allowing no air into the bag, greatly slowing the wine's spoilage!
The perfect package for beach-going, backpacking (just take the bag out of the box, camping or duck blinds!
