It's Hot In Here
About a year ago, we went foraging for food (at our Sunday Farmer's Market) and fell in love with the pickled goods from "It's Hot In Here". But whenever we ran out we had to wait until our next weekly market. So we brought them in for sale at both our stores!
The spicy Onions are also available in Montclair as a 50-cent add-on to your sandwich!
The sweet-spicy balance is perfect here, adding a little zip to your salads, egg dishes, vegetables, burgers, charcuterie tray or sandwiches!
The Producer
I love a good underdog story, and this one is not yet over. The founders of IHIH are locals, two couples who got together from time to time to share good meals and conversations. Along the way, Troy served some of the hot pickled onions his wife found too spicy, but his friend Katie loved (while her spouse found them too spicy!). Katie and Troy forged a business partnership that became sufficiently successful on the Farmer's Market circuit to justify this side gig.
