Dedicated to Mario, the founder of the winery, this 100% Trebbiano Abruzzese (the original clone of Trebbiano in Abruzzo, coming from the mountains) comes from 50+ old vineyards trained with the traditional pergola abruzzese (the vines reach almost 7 feet in height). A completely different variety from the Trebbiano Toscano, the Abruzzese shows more complexity, tension and aging potential, combining aromas of ripe orchard fruit with zesty citrus and wet stones.
