Discover the food and wine of Champagne at an unhurried, indulgent pace as part of our small‑group journey that begins in the heart of Paris.
Our first night will be spent at a hotel in the storied Latin Quarter where we'll start with a warm Parisian welcome dinner. We'll depart the following morning via private transport for the charming village of Épernay - our base of operations for the week.
Upon arrival, our Champagne discoveries begin with a tasting and tour at a renowned Champagne house, followed by a walking tour of historic Hautvillers, home of Dom Pérignon. We'll then settle into the luxurious comfort of Hôtel la Villa Eugène in Épernay, where we will stay for the next five days. After breakfast each morning, we'll board our private bus and explore a different part of the Champagne region, visiting one or two boutique Champagne producers each day.
Over the course of the week our guests will enjoy tastings at two historically significant houses and five grower-producers, all balanced by sufficient free time to wander through charming villages, lounge by the hotel pool, or work out in the gym. With relaxed pacing, ample tastings, and unforgettable meals, this tour offers the perfect blend of luxury and leisure.
Our week concludes with our return to Paris, where we'll indulge in a delightful cheese‑and‑wine pairing class at Paroles de Fromagers followed by a visit to Shakespeare & Co. before concluding our memorable week with a farewell dinner at a nearby restaurant.
