Italian torrone is a traditional nougat candy made from egg whites, honey, and toasted almonds and very special pistachios from Sicily. The pistachios (Italian pronunciation: pea STACKY oh) come from Bronte, a village near Mt Etna, where they're known as "Green Gold" - Add a decadent lemon glaze on top of that and you get a sweet, delicate, tangy and aromatic delight!
